Albany International is the largest producer of Fibre Cement felts in the world with manufacturing facilities in Mexico, Brazil, and Australia. Operations in Mexico and Brazil cover the Latin American markets and the main operation, covering the rest of the world, is based near Sydney, Australia, where Albany established its Australian operations in 1966. Years of growth have seen the Australian plant become the single largest manufacturing facility for Fibre Cement felts in the world. Today we supply to 214 machines (AC and FC) in 82 locations in 22 countries around the world. | |

At Albany International, we have been manufacturing top quality felts for the Fibre Cement industry for more than 40 years. We were partners in the original work done to replace Asbestos with Cellulose fibre and have vast experience in all forms of Fibre Cement production. In more recent years we have been working closely with manufacturers to create new products that improve sheet smoothness together with life at today’s higher production rates.
